How to download a PAN card?
First, check who your PAN card is issued by. NDSL or UTIITSL will be written on the back side of the PAN card. If it is made by NDSL, the method is different and if it is made by UTIITSL, you have to go to its separate website and download it.
If you go to the website of NDSL and download it, you will have to pay 8-9 rupees for it and UTIITSL holders can download it for free.
Download PAN Card Through NDSL
- First, you have to go to this website. https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/requestAndDownloadEPAN.html
- After going there you will have the Tax Information Network Of the Income Tax Department written on the screen.
- Now you have to fill in your PAN card number and other information. You can also enter an Acknowledgment Number instead of a PAN Card Number.
- It is not necessary to write GSTN number is optional.
- After filling in the details tick the small box that will appear and click on the submit button.
- After clicking on the submit button you will now see all the details of your PAN card on the screen.
- Now you will be asked for OTP in which you have to select the email and mobile number on which you want to send OTP and click on Generate OTP.
- Click on Validate after OTP appears.
- Now you have to click on Continue With Paid E-Pan Download Facility.
- Now you have to pay online. As much as 8 or 9 rupees.
- Wait until the money is paid and you will automatically go to a new tab. Then you will see your transaction detail screen and click on continue.
- Now you have to click on Generate and Payment Receipt.
- Now a PDF of your PAN card will be sent to your email id which has to be downloaded and opened.
- It will ask you for a password in which you have to enter your date of birth. If your date of birth is 1/1/1995 then you have to enter 01011999 in the password.
Download The UTIITSL PAN Card
- First, you have to go to this website. https://www.pan.utiitsl.com/PAN_ONLINE/ePANCard
- Where you will see Facility For Download Of E-Pan Card written.
- Now you have to fill in your PAN card number and other details.
- You don’t have to write anything in GSTIN Number.
- After filling in the captcha, you have to click on the submit button.
- Click on the submit button then you will see your PAN card number and email ID.
- Now you have to fill captcha tick the box and click on Generate OTP.
- You have to enter the OTP and click on the submit button.
- As soon as you click on the submit button, you will see on the screen that your PAN card has been sent to your email ID.
- Now you can download your PAN card by going to email.
- Open the PDF and it will ask you for a password in which you have to enter your date of birth. If your date of birth is 1/1/1995 then you have to enter 01011999 in the password.
